Terms of Service

Wayfinder Email provides hosted mailboxes on domains you own, a web portal for managing domains, mailboxes, and billing, and a webmail interface for reading and sending mail. The service is operated by 9th Island Digital Lab.

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us immediately at support@wayfinderemail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must own or control any domain you add to Wayfinder, and you must be able to prove it through DNS verification.

Trial accounts are limited to one domain, three mailboxes, and thirty days. At the end of the trial you must choose a paid plan to continue using the service. Mail on an expired trial remains available for a short grace period before the account is suspended and then removed.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time from the billing section of your portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to account owners.

You may not use Wayfinder Email to:

• Send unsolicited bulk email, spam, or phishing messages.
• Distribute malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system.
• Harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate others.
• Store or transmit content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction or ours.
• Resell mailboxes without a written agreement with us.
• Circumvent quotas, rate limits, or security controls.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with notice where practical and immediately where necessary to protect the service or other customers.

You retain all rights to the mail and data you store with Wayfinder. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, transmit, back up, and display that content in order to operate the service. We do not use your mail for advertising or model training.

We work to keep Wayfinder Email available continuously, but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. Support is provided by email at support@wayfinderemail.com.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits or lost data.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service for non-payment, violation of these terms, or where required by law. On termination we will make a reasonable effort to let you export your mail before deletion, subject to the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced to account owners by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
